Shila Korde, the owner of Omkar Foods, had an incredible passion for cooking. She was not a trained chef but an amazing cook. Her food was always highly appreciated among family and friends and they all would suggest her to change the passion into profession. Her venture finally began in 1985. She started a home-based catering business that was an instant success. She started climbing the ladder of success with her hard work and commitment and never looked back. During this venture her husband, Vijay and their three daughters had been her strong supporters. Now, this small home based business has turned into a wide-growing operation that supplies sweet and namkeen products to more than 300 stores in Mumbai. Omkar Foods is known for quality products, and has never compromised on that aspect. Shila's daughters Anita & Shilpa have successfully launched Omkar Foods in the USA, and can now bring sweets and namkeen snacks to your doorstep!
